Konnichiwa! I am Saumya Premathilaka Sensei, a Japanese language specialist graduated with a BA Hons Special Degree in Japanese from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. I completed my two-year language studies at EIA Language School in Japan in just one year and passed the JLPT N2 exam.
With years of experience guiding A/L, O/L, and JLPT students since 2022, I have pioneered a scientific teaching philosophy. I believe that Kanji (characters) should never be a chore. Using my unique pictorial story-based methodology, I guide students to absorb the language naturally, creatively, and with deep cultural respect.
As a recognized filmmaker in the Japanese Language South Asian Forum, I blend visual art and cultural stories directly into classrooms. Students learn not just characters, but the lifestyle and visual flow of Japan.
